We are a family-owned firm focusing on services in the explosive processing of materials, specialising in explosive welding and strengthening of metals and, to a lesser extent, with several other specialisations in this area. Over the years we have gathered experience, which we would like to put to good use and, of course, pass on. So, you can meet us not only at our location but also, for example, at lectures at universities in the Czech Republic and abroad. We continue a long-standing tradition of utilising the energy of explosives for the explosive processing of materials, which began in former Czechoslovakia and we strive to maintain it until the present day. Thanks to the enthusiasm of our predecessors and their willingness to pass knowledge on, we have got considerable experience in this field and, naturally, thanks to occasional failures we have broadened this experience further. But perhaps it was thanks to our patron, Saint Barbara, that the failures only involved material damage and so we can continue to offer you our services and you can meet us when dealing with your technical problems and when performing the explosive processing of materials.
We strive to accommodate our customers not only by providing services in the explosive processing of materials but also in other areas of use of energy materials, and this is especially thanks to a lot of our business partners and colleagues from this field both in our country and abroad.
Believe us when we say that we can make ourselves heard.
Since secondary technical school, Petr Nesvadba has been engaged in mechanical engineering and he followed up studying this field at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, with a specialisation in welding and surface treatment. His final thesis concentrated on the explosive welding of metals, and getting acquainted with this specialisation directed his further professional development. It started in 2001 in the Research Institute of Industrial Chemistry, which is part of Explosia a.s. in Pardubice. In addition to operations in the explosive processing of materials, it was necessary to get acquainted with subjects that are not so popular with students: physics and chemistry. As chance would have it, he met a lot of great people who were willing to pass on their knowledge and experience to him. So, familiarisation with explosion physics and chemical production took place under the supervision of these experts and, as a result, he has survived to this day. Over the years, his qualifications have been broadened by a licence for small- and large-scale blasting operations, pyrotechnical operations and other necessary certificates for work with explosives, and he has also gained experience in the testing of explosives and ballistics. Concurrently with his employment, he completed complementary study at the Institute of Energetic Materials of University of Pardubice and postgraduate study at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, again in the field of explosion-welded materials, at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology in Trnava. From 2012, he worked at OZM Research s.r.o., where he continued to apply himself with the field of explosive processing of materials and he got involved in the testing of explosives and the production of test instruments and equipment for energetic materials. Since 2021, he has worked entirely independently in his own company BBP technologie, s.r.o.
